CVE-2024-22372

Administrator command execution via crafted router request

Published Jan 24, 2024 · Updated May 12, 2026

OS command injection in ELECOM WRC-X-series wireless LAN router firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands. The public advisories identify only a specially crafted request and do not disclose the affected endpoint, parameter, or command-construction operation. Exploitation requires adjacency to the router network and an administrative session, and successful commands can read, alter, or interrupt router-managed data and services.
