CVE-2024-22366

Authenticated command execution via active debug function

Published Jan 24, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025

Active debug code in affected Yamaha WLX access points allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands via management interfaces. The WebGUI or command-line interface enables an undocumented debug function through specific operations, leaving command-execution code reachable. Administrative credentials and access from the adjacent management network are required; exploitation can run code, change configuration, or interrupt service.
