CVE-2024-22334Network attack vector

Privilege retention via incomplete custom-type permission revocation

Published Apr 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Improper privilege control in IBM DevOps Deploy 8.0 through 8.0.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to retain unexpected privileges. When an administrator deletes a custom security resource type, the server fails to revoke every associated permission from objects that used that type. High-privilege access and a custom type are required; stale grants can leave actual access broader than the reported permission configuration.
