Server-side request forgery in IBM WebSphere Application Server and Liberty allows remote attackers to access internal resources. IBM identifies a specially crafted request as the trigger but keeps the affected component and request-handling defect confidential in APAR PH59117. The affected releases are traditional 8.5 and 9.0 and Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 24.0.0.3; exploitation requires network adjacency but no authentication or user interaction, and the documented consequence is limited information disclosure.
