Script execution via unescaped link input
Published Jan 31, 2024 · Updated May 11, 2026
Cross-site scripting in WP Lab WP-Lister Lite for eBay 3.5.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via crafted link input. The plugin places attacker-controlled input into generated links without escaping it for the surrounding HTML context. Successful exploitation requires a user to open the crafted link, after which the script runs in that user's browser context and can act with that session's access.
