Published May 21, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025

The flaw is reached through com.vmware.rvc, which exposes portions of arbitrary files, but the failing internal operation is not public. Administrative appliance-shell access and credentials able to run com.vmware.rvc are required; Cloud Foundation 4.x and 5.x are affected through vCenter.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
