CVE-2024-22269

Hypervisor-memory disclosure to privileged guest users

Published May 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Information disclosure in VMware Workstation 17.x before 17.5.2 and Fusion 13.x before 13.5.2 allows local users to read hypervisor memory. The vbluetooth device exposes privileged hypervisor-memory contents to a guest, but VMware has not published the defective operation. Exploitation requires local administrative privileges inside a virtual machine with Bluetooth sharing enabled and is limited to reading data.
