Privilege escalation in VMware Avi Load Balancer allows remote authenticated users with admin rights to control host files as root. VMware has not published the vulnerable component or the operation that improperly elevates Avi administrative access to host-root authority. Administrative access to the network-reachable Controller is required; successful exploitation permits root-level file creation, modification, execution, and deletion.
