Stored cross-site scripting in VMware Aria Operations for Networks 6.x allows remote authenticated users to take over accounts via the login banner. The administrator-controlled banner field stores a malicious payload without neutralizing browser-executable content, which runs when the banner is displayed. Exploitation requires administrator privileges and a user to view the poisoned banner; successful execution compromises that user's account.
