Authenticated database disclosure via unsanitized sort parameters
Published Jan 11, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
SQL injection in Nginx UI before 2.0.0-beta.9 allows remote authenticated users to disclose database values through crafted sorting parameters. OrderAndPaginate inserts the user-controlled order and sort_by parameters into a GORM order expression without validation or neutralization. A valid JWT and access to a list endpoint such as GET /api/dns_credentials are required; response ordering provides a Boolean disclosure oracle.
