Insecure storage in vantage6 before 4.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to store sensitive task input unencrypted in the database. The server's Tasks.post_task path accepts task input without checking that its encryption state matches the collaboration's encryption setting. Exploitation requires task-creation permission and an incorrectly configured client request; database readers can then access the plaintext input.
