Stored XSS via unsanitized administrator settings
Published Jan 31, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Stock Locations for WooCommerce 2.5.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through settings. The settings handler stores administrator-supplied values without sufficient input sanitization, and affected pages render them without output escaping. Administrator access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites with unfiltered_html disabled; opening an injected page executes the script in the site's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
