Incorrect approver assignment via mutable read-only field
Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Improper access control in SAP Fiori Front-End Server 605 allows remote authenticated users to assign an incorrect leave approver. The leave-request submission accepts altered approver details from a field presented as read-only and creates the request with that attacker-controlled value. Low-privileged network access and user interaction are required; the resulting request exposes leave information to, and routes approval authority through, an unintended approver.
