CVE-2024-2213

Account takeover via unverified password change

Published Jun 6, 2024 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

Improper authentication in ZenML before 0.56.3 allows attackers with an active user session to take over an account by changing its password. The user-update path accepted an updated password and persisted it without requiring or verifying the existing password. A valid active session is required; successful exploitation replaces the account credential and locks the legitimate account holder out.
