CVE-2024-22129Network attack vector

Sensitive-data exposure via crafted-link cross-site scripting

Published Feb 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Cross-site scripting in SAP Companion before 3.1.38 allows remote authenticated users to retrieve sensitive data through a crafted link. SAP identifies a URL parameter as the injection point but has not published its name or the code path that fails to neutralize its value. Exploitation requires a signed-in attacker to send the link and a user to open it; resulting script execution can also make minor changes to web content.
