Authenticated host-statistics disclosure via unchecked widget permissions
Published Aug 9, 2024 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Affected Zabbix releases allow remote authenticated users without host permissions to view host counts and system statistics. The Global View Dashboard's System Information widget returns aggregate host and system data without preserving the viewer's host permissions. Any signed-in user can learn inventory scale and system metrics, but the flaw does not permit data modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
