Relative path traversal in Rapid Software LLC Rapid SCADA 5.8.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files. An undisclosed command accepts traversal sequences appended to its filename argument and resolves the resulting path outside the intended directory. Low-privileged network access to the command is required, and the impact is limited to reading files accessible to the Rapid SCADA process.
