Unauthorized app installation via permission verification bypass
Published Apr 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Authentication bypass in OpenHarmony 3.2.0 through 3.2.4 allows remote attackers to install applications through Bundle Manager. The vendor identifies bundlemanager_bundle_framework as the affected repository but has not published the failed permission check or crafted input. Successful exploitation requires local user interaction and installs an application outside the intended permission controls.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
