Authentication bypass in Elspec G5 digital fault recorder 1.1.4.15 and earlier allows remote attackers to reconfigure the device. The device accepts a hardcoded backdoor session ID for further access without a user-specific authenticated session. Network access to the device interface is sufficient; the published consequence includes configuration changes.
