DLL search-path hijacking in Sound Research SECOMN64 Driver on affected HP PCs allows local users to execute code with elevated privileges. SECOMN64.exe searches for a required DLL through an uncontrolled path and loads an attacker-placed library instead of the intended component. Exploitation requires high local privileges and control of a searched location; loaded code executes in the elevated process context.
