CVE-2024-2204Public exploit

Local system crash via null IOCTL buffer

Published Mar 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

NULL pointer dereference in Zemana AntiLogger 2.74.204.664 allows local users to crash the computer through crafted driver IOCTL requests. The 0x80002010 path passes a null SystemBuffer into handler code that dereferences it when the request supplies a zero-length input and null buffer. Low-privileged local access is required, and successful triggering causes a Windows blue-screen crash without reported data disclosure or modification.
