Read-only user privilege escalation
Published Apr 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Privilege escalation in NetApp ONTAP Select Deploy 9.12.1 through 9.14.1P2 allows remote authenticated users to modify or delete managed data. NetApp has not published the affected authorization locus or the operation that improperly grants a read-only account greater privileges. Exploitation requires a read-only account and network access to a Deploy interface; the resulting privileges permit modification or deletion of Deploy-managed data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
