Improper authorization in NetApp SnapCenter 4.8 through 4.9 allows remote authenticated users to modify system logging configuration settings. NetApp has not disclosed the affected endpoint or authorization check, only that SnapCenter Server accepts a logging-configuration change without the required authorization. Access to an authenticated server account is required, and the documented consequence is limited to confidentiality and integrity effects on logging configuration.
