Authorization bypass in QNAP QTS 5.1.x and QuTS hero h5.1.x allows remote authenticated users to read or modify critical resources. Affected management functions fail to enforce administrator-only permissions, exposing system-log viewing and clearing plus other undisclosed actions. A valid NAS account is required; non-administrator users can access or alter protected management data through the network interface.
