Path traversal in Enphase IQ Gateway 4.x through 8.2.4224 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate files through a URL parameter. The authenticated endpoint uses an attacker-controlled URL parameter to choose a cache-file path without confining the resolved pathname; Enphase has not disclosed its name. Exploitation requires valid credentials and a gateway modified to obtain a public IP address and connect directly to the internet.
