Buffer overflow in Badge.Team Hacker Hotel Badge 2024 0.1.0 through 0.1.3 allows attackers to crash badges via billboard broadcasts. The billboard message handler applies invalid bounds checking to broadcast data, allowing an oversized message to overflow a buffer. The attack requires nearby network access to broadcast a billboard message; the demonstrated consequence is a badge crash.
