Continued call access via missing participant revocation
Published Apr 5, 2024 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Improper access control in Mattermost Server 8.1.0 through 8.1.10 allows remote authenticated users to remain in an active channel call. The server does not revoke an existing call participant when that account is removed from the channel, leaving the live call session authorized. The account must already belong to the channel and join its active call; continued access exposes call audio after channel access is revoked.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
