Improper authentication in Brother Web Based Management allows attackers to impersonate an administrator from the adjacent network. Web Based Management accepts a captured administrator session cookie as authentication, allowing its holder to enter the server configuration interface. The attacker must reach the device and obtain the cookie through network interception or browser compromise.
