Root command execution via unsanitized filename extension

OS command injection in MC Technologies MC-LR Router 2.10.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through configuration upload. The cfg CGI derives a file-type value from the uploaded filename extension and passes it without sanitization to run_shell, a system wrapper. The request requires authenticated access and multipart form data; successful injection executes with root privileges and can fully compromise the router.
