CVE-2024-21780

Device denial of service via crafted command

Published Feb 2, 2024 · Updated Jun 16, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in KDDI HOME SPOT CUBE2 V102 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted command. The command-processing component writes attacker-controlled input beyond a stack buffer, but JPCERT/CC has not disclosed the affected command or code locus. Unauthenticated access from an adjacent network is sufficient, and successful exploitation stops the router from providing service.
