Local privilege escalation via uncontrolled search path
Published Aug 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 14, 2024
Uncontrolled search path in Intel oneAPI Math Kernel Library before 2024.1 allows local users with authenticated access to escalate privileges. Intel has not published the affected library or loader locus or the incorrect search-path operation. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access, user interaction, and additional execution conditions, and successful abuse compromises the host process privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
