CVE-2024-21761Network attack vector

Cross-tenant report disclosure via modified request payload

Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024

Improper authorization in Fortinet FortiPortal 7.0.0 through 7.0.6 and 7.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to download other organizations’ reports. The report-download request handler accepts organization-identifying values from the request payload without verifying that the requesting account is authorized for that tenant. A valid FortiPortal account and network access to the portal are required, and successful exploitation discloses another organization’s reports without changing or deleting them.
