Unauthorized bank account creation via function import
Published Jan 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 17, 2025
Incorrect authorization in SAP S/4HANA Finance S4CORE 107 and SAPSCORE 128 allows remote authenticated users to create in-house bank accounts. The affected function import accepts an account-creation request without enforcing the authorization required for that operation. Access requires an authenticated network session, and successful exploitation writes unauthorized financial account data with low confidentiality and integrity impact.
