Out-of-bounds memory access via crafted HTML
Published Mar 6, 2024 · Updated Mar 21, 2025
Out-of-bounds memory access in V8 in Google Chrome before 122.0.6261.111 allows remote attackers to access memory via crafted HTML. A crafted page causes the V8 JavaScript engine to access memory outside its intended bounds; Google has not published the faulty code path or invalid operation. Exploitation requires a user to open the attacker-controlled page, and the published record bounds the demonstrated consequence to out-of-bounds memory access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
