Browser code execution and forced actions via reflection
Published Aug 21, 2024 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Reflected XSS and CSRF in affected Atlassian Confluence Data Center and Server releases allow remote attackers to run browser code. Atlassian has not disclosed the vulnerable endpoint or the server-side operation that reflects attacker-controlled input without safe output handling. Exploitation requires a victim to follow a crafted request; resulting script execution can expose browser-accessible data and force actions under the victim’s active session.
