Code injection in vantage6 before 4.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through algorithm environment variables. TaskManager._setup_environment_vars passed attacker-controlled values directly into the algorithm container environment, allowing special characters to be interpreted as code. Authentication is required, and the demonstrated execution boundary is the algorithm container rather than the host.
