Application crash via recursive Ion data processing

Denial of service in Amazon Ion Java before 1.10.5 allows remote attackers to crash affected applications with crafted Ion data. While parsing Ion text or traversing an IonValue model, library processing follows crafted nested structures deeply enough to exhaust the Java call stack. Reachability requires a consuming application to accept untrusted Ion data and, for binary input, invoke an affected IonValue method; the bounded consequence is service interruption.
