Incorrect default permissions in Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allow local users to read confidential NETCONF trace data. When NETCONF traceoptions are enabled, session data written to the device trace file remains accessible to low-privileged accounts after specific super-user NETCONF activity. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access, nondefault tracing, and preceding super-user activity; the reported consequence is disclosure without data modification or service interruption.
