CVE-2024-21594

Local service crash via repeated CLI command

Published Jan 12, 2024 · Updated Jun 3, 2025

Heap-based buffer overflow in Junos OS on SRX 5000 Series allows local users with low privileges to crash flowd through the CLI. Repeated execution of an undisclosed CLI command corrupts memory in the Network Services Daemon and causes the Flow Processing Daemon to crash.
