Authenticated database read and modification via unsanitized ID
Published Mar 4, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Mobile Store Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter database data. The order viewer places the GET id value directly inside a quoted SELECT predicate without parameterization, allowing a UNION payload to change the query. Access to the administrative order view is required; the published request demonstrates retrieval of the database version, and injected SQL permits database changes.
