Memory corruption via memparcel notification preparation
Published Aug 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 15, 2024
Memory corruption in Qualcomm Resource Manager firmware allows local users to corrupt memory while preparing a memparcel notification. Resource Manager prepares a shared-memory notification for a memparcel without adequately constraining the associated memory-buffer operation. Local access is required, but no prior privileges or user interaction are required; Qualcomm has not published the resulting behavior beyond memory corruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
