Stored cross-site scripting via unescaped pricing widgets
Published Apr 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in WidgetKit for Elementor 2.5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into pages. The Pricing Single, Pricing Icon, and Pricing Tab templates render attacker-controlled widget fields without sufficient input sanitization or context-appropriate output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, and execution occurs in a visitor's browser when the injected page is opened.
