Code injection in Windows SmartScreen in affected Windows releases allows remote attackers to execute code after a user opens a crafted file. SmartScreen fails to inspect the specially crafted downloaded file and suppresses the warning that normally precedes execution. Exploitation requires file delivery and user interaction; successful code execution can expose data or interrupt the affected host.
