CVE-2024-21334Network attack vector

Unauthenticated remote code execution

Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated May 3, 2025

Use-after-free in Microsoft Open Management Infrastructure before 1.8.1-0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code over the network. Microsoft has not disclosed the freed object, the later invalid memory operation, or the request fields that trigger it. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation gives the remote attacker code execution in the OMI service context, including affected SCOM UNIX/Linux agents.
