Authenticated critical-data access via undisclosed Query flaw
Published Oct 15, 2024 · Updated Oct 16, 2024
Improper access control in Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.59 through 8.61 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify data via HTTP. Oracle identifies the Query component but has not published the affected function or the incorrect operation performed on request data. Low-privileged application access is required; successful exploitation exposes critical data and permits its creation, deletion, or modification without interrupting service.
