Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server 8.4.0 and 9.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to hang or crash the server. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as the Server: PS component and has not disclosed the malformed operation or input that triggers resource exhaustion. Exploitation requires a highly privileged database account and network access through the MySQL protocol; the bounded consequence is a server hang or repeatable crash.
