Resource-consumption flaw in the optimizer of Oracle MySQL Server 8.0.37 and earlier and 8.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to crash the server. Oracle has not disclosed the optimizer operation or input that consumes resources or permits unauthorized updates, inserts, or deletes.
