Reflected XSS via unescaped code parameter
Published Mar 29, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in TechnoCrackers Christmas Greetings 1.2.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts via a crafted code parameter. The plugin’s christmas/christmas.php path reflects the code request parameter into generated page output without sufficient sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Execution requires a user to open an attacker-crafted link, after which the script runs in that user’s browser context and can read or alter page-accessible data.
