Denial of service in HotSpot in Oracle Java SE allows remote attackers to cause a partial interruption through affected Java applications. Oracle has not published the exact HotSpot code path or the incorrect operation performed on attacker-controlled input. Exploitation requires a difficult-to-achieve condition and access to an application that passes attacker-controlled data to HotSpot APIs, such as a web service or sandboxed Java client.
