Unauthenticated modification of accessible data
Published Jul 16, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Integrity flaw in HotSpot in affected Oracle Java SE and GraalVM releases allows remote attackers to modify accessible data. Oracle has not published the vulnerable HotSpot API or the incorrect operation it performs on untrusted input. Exploitation requires a service to pass attacker-controlled data into affected APIs, or sandboxed Java code that relies on the Java sandbox, and permits unauthorized updates, inserts, or deletions only.
